Teenage Scots get into Quadrangular swing
Stuart Wilson's side, who beat defending champions Sweden in their opening match, produced a battling singles rally to edge out France 5-4 and maintain their unbeaten record.
Trailing 2-1 after the morning foursomes, the Scots hit back in the afternoon with national boys' strokeplay champion Jack McDonald beating Victor Perez by two holes in the top singles tie.

Hide AdCraigielaw's Grant Forrest, the Scottish under-16 champion, powered past Paul Barjon by a 5 and 4 margin while Scott Gibson and Calum Stewart both pitched in with wins to carry the Scots home. A victory today over Italy, who lost 7-2 to the Swedes, would clinch the title for Wilson's youngsters.
