Snooker: Lothian duo Michael Leslie and Ross Muir pocket titles
Leslie was in superb form as he beat Glasgow's Anthony McGill 4-3 in the final of Event 1 of the Scottish Under-21 series. Leslie won the first frame comfortably and then opened up a 2-0 lead with the help of a 44 break.
Breaks of 44 and 47 allowed McGill to pull one back, but an excellent 73 break allowed Leslie to restore a two-frame cushion. McGill then came roaring back with a tense black ball game in the fifth and a 56 break in the sixth to level the match. However, despite McGill making a 44 break in the last frame, Leslie held his nerve to take the final colours and seal the title.
