Rugby: Royal left on a High after Sevens series
The Capital schoolchildren bagged the honour by chalking up wins in S1, S2 and S3 tournaments, together with second and sixth place finishes in the remaining two categories for Under-18s and Under-16s.
Those results saw Royal High emerge victorious ahead of defending champions Portobello in the competition, which attracted 21 teams.

Hide AdScotland sevens coach Graham Shiel, who presented the trophy, said: "It is pleasing from my point of view to see a structure like this being established in Edinburgh which recognises a formal sevens tournament and the benefits and player development that playing rugby sevens brings."
And another man delighted with the success of the event was Edinburgh development officer Ruaridh Pye, who said: "The real positives for me in rugby sevens is the raw talent that is on show throughout the age groups.
"With sevens being in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2016 Olympics Games in Rio, there are great opportunities within the sport and the beginnings of a pathway that could see some of these youngsters playing in the elite game in the not-so-distant future."
