Move up money list is consolation for Doak and Lee
After sharing second spot heading into the final round, Doak finished fourth with Lee in a tie for fifth as Frenchman Julien Quesne took the title.
The consolation for Doak, who closed with a 68 for a 12-under total of 272, four behind Quesne, was that his cheque for around £7,700 saw him leap 12 places to 34th in the order of merit.

That saw him jump two places to 11th on the money-list, giving him a good chance of achieving his goal of a top-ten finish at the end of the season. Quesne sealed the second Challenge Tour win of his career after a three-under-par 68 in the final round. He won by two shots from Belgian Pierre Relecom, who had a flawless 66. A closing 64 gave Frenchman Michael Lorenzo-Vera third place, one shot ahead of Doak.
“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” said 31-year-old Quesne. “I am delighted. For 18 holes I fought and fought, and Pierre was playing so well I knew I had to keep my concentration. When I made the birdie on the 15th I relaxed a little, and after another birdie at the 17th I knew the trophy was mine.”
Jamie McLeary finished in a tie for 18th on 277, while Raymond Russell and Callum Macaulay finised on 281 and 282 respectively.
