Grange keeper Hadfield will be looking to pull out all the stops again
Hadfield produced a string of superb saves as Grange emerged unbeaten from three key Division One games last weekend at Perth. Now the 19-year-old goalkeeper will face Inverleith, the Division One leaders, Dundonian hosts Grove, who are the reigning indoor champions, and the Scottish under-21 side.
Hadfield could have played for the under-21 side as he is part of their programme but had earlier given the nod to Grange who are developing a young indoor squad. He earned plaudits for his performances last Saturday, including a brilliant stop, arching his back to claw the ball to safety from behind him in the draw with Inverleith. He said: “We decided to compete in the Grove event to keep us sharp for the re-start of the indoor season.”
Inverleith have drafted in Olympian Stephen Dick, Great Britain squad player Chris Grassick and Scotland goalkeeper Allan Dick, who all play in England.
