Golf: Pak one shot clear in Alabama
Pak has two previous wins under her belt on The Crossings course at Magnolia Grove – at the LPGA Tournament of Champions in 2001 and 2002 – and admits familiarity with her surroundings has been a help. "I have such great memories about it," said the 32-year-old, who started from the 10th tee and had five birdies in a six-hole run on the back nine.
"Of course I play really well. I mean, during the round of course I know so many holes – where to miss, how to play, how to make the shot. So that actually helps a lot, especially during this week."
