Golf: Hillson unhappy with play
The Craigielaw player was the only Lothians man to make the cut but he said: "Making cuts isn't enough – it is more important how you play and, unfortunately, I didn't play great in the last two rounds.
"My 75 on Saturday was a good score considering how badly I hit it and, although I hit it a bit better in the closing round, my putting let me down."

But they made an early exit along with Craigielaw's Myles Cunningham (75, 75), Glencorse's Sean McGarvey (78, 74), Dunbar's Zander Culverwell (78, 76) and Dalmahoy's Tom Blennerhasset (82, 78).
Mortonhall's Greg Nicolson was disqualified after missing his second-round tee time after taking three-and-a-half hours to get to Ayrshire due to traffic.
