'Trim that squad' - Rangers duo tipped for January exit to create space for January signings
The Ibrox club want Aberdeen’s Scott Wright. The player’s deal at Pittodrie expires at the end of the season but Steven Gerrard is reported to want the player this month.
His creative qualities will likely complement the current forward and provide further threat in the attacking third.

Hide AdHutton reckons Rangers will look to move on the likes of Jordan Jones and Greg Stewart to create more room in the squad before signings are made.
Between them, the attacking duo have made just three starts and in total eight appearances this season.
Both players had proven themselves as more than capable Premiership players at former clubs but their impact at Ibrox has largely been minimal.
“You would think that there would have to be some sort of movement," Hutton told Football Insider.
“They’re normally waiting for that first person to move, to trim their squad, before the movement starts.
“So these players – Jones and Stewart – I think he’d like to trim that squad down but he’ll definitely have his eye on bringing one or two in to bring even more competition to the squad that’s already there.”
Stewart, whose contract expires at the end of the season, could be used as a makeweight in a deal to bring Wright to Ibrox this month which would mean a third Aberdeen spell.
As for Jones, the winger has had a couple of off-field incidents which didn't sit well with the club, including breaking lockdown rules alongside George Edmundson.
The Northern Irishman’s deal runs until 2023.
