Only one top-flight boss nominated for Manager of Year award
The solitary nominee from the top flight is Ross County manager Jim McIntyre who guided the Highland side to their first major trophy when they beat Hibs to win the League Cup in March. He has also taken County into the top six.
The other managers on the short-list are Rangers’ Mark Warburton, Falkirk’s Peter Houston and Peterhead’s Jim McInally.

Warburton is in the running after winning promotion back to the Premiership with Rangers, triumphing in the Petrofac Cup and securing a place in next month’s Scottish Cup Final by defeating Celtic in the semi.
Houston has also been nominated after leading Falkirk to the promotion play-offs in the Championship after a season long battle with Hibernian.
League One Peterhead manager McInally has been shortlisted after he led his club to the final of the Petrofac Cup before losing to Rangers 4-0, as well as securing a promotion play-off spot.
The overall winner will be announced on Sunday 1 May in Glasgow at PFA Scotland’s annual awards dinner.
