Kilmarnock manager latest: Appointment 'urgent' as club look to address losing run
The Rugby Park side parted ways with Alex Dyer after a 3-2 home defeat to St Johnstone on Saturday, leaving head of football operations James Fowler to take charge for the 4-0 reverse to Celtic on Tuesday.
Killie have collected only seven points from the last 36 available and currently sit ninth in the Scottish Premiership table, five points ahead of bottom club Hamilton who have two games in hand.

With three upcoming fixtures next week, St Mirren away on Saturday followed by a home match against Motherwell on Wednesday before a trip to Ibrox the following Saturday, Fowler insisted that a decision will be made quickly.
"It was always urgent. I don't think the board were ever going to take their time on that process, I don't think tonight changes that," he told BBC Sportsound after the midweek defeat to Celtic.
"That's something we'll discuss this week. It's been a busy few days since Alex left on Saturday preparing for a transfer window and [Celtic] as well.
"We'll catch up and discuss that internally and look to see who's applied and if there's any candidates out there we want to try and approach.
"As a club we want to have that connection with the fans and the community, no matter who the manager is. That will be part of it when whoever comes in. It's just important we get the right person."
