Hibs confirm signing of midfielder Kevin Thomson
The midfielder, 31, becomes Hibs’ second signing of the week following the capture of striker Anthony Stokes on loan from Celtic.
Thomson, a former captain at Easter Road, will now enter his third spell at the Club, having started his career at Easter Road and returned between 2013 and 2014.

Head coach Alan Stubbs said: “We’re very happy to have Kevin join the squad.
“Both Kevin and Anthony have won league and cup medals, and that experience will be important in the run-in.
“He’ll also be a strong addition to Eddie’s coaching staff – I’m sure the kids coming through will pick up a lot from Kevin.
“I’ve got to thank the supporters, as well as the board, for their backing – there’s a very positive feeling about the place just now and we’re doing everything we can to get back to the Premiership.
“The supporters have a lot to be excited about, and hopefully they can show their support in numbers at Easter Road on Saturday and for the remainder of the season.”
Thomson will go into the squad for tomorrow’s Championship match with St Mirren at Easter Road.
