Jackie McNamara Sr: Hibs “get what they pay for”
FORMER Hibs star Jackie McNamara has launched a stinging attack on Rod Petrie’s player recruitment tactics at former club Hibernian.
McNamara said: “The club is becoming renowned for being stingy with wages and you get what you pay for. There is no lack of ambition within the supporters, but I believe there definitely is at board level.

Rangers ‘wouldn’t win Championship’, says Findlay
FORMER Rangers vice-chairman Donald Findlay believes the current Ibrox side would not have won this season’s SPFL Championship.
Findlay, a QC and current chairman at Cowdenbeath, said: “No way. Not a cat’s chance in hell.
“The football sometimes isn’t great, but there are a lot of old pros in the Championship who know how to avoid losing matches. On any given day, most of the teams... could have beaten Rangers.” (Herald)
Buddies’ McLean wanted by Premier League trio
STOKE City, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with St Mirren midfielder Kenny McLean.
The 22-year-old is out of contract this summer meaning the English sides would only have to pay a training compensation fee for McLean, who has scored five goals in all competitions this season.
Rangers and Ipswich have also been linked with the midfielder in recent weeks. (Sun)
Hearts ‘only owed £100k from SPFL’
HEARTS will only be able to draw £100,000 in advance payments from the SPFL, according to the Mail.

Hide AdThe paper reports that the club has already received £690,000 of its £790,000 award for this season, with the club’s administrators reportedly set to ask for the remaining six-figure sum in advance of the end of the season.

Scottish Cup semi-finals: Rangers ‘not underdogs’ - Daly
RANGERS striker Jon Daly believes that his side are not the underdogs in their Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Dundee United.
Daly said: “I don’t think the lads will see themselves as underdogs and I don’t think United will look at themselves as the favourites.”
“It’s just going to be one of those games where you have two good sides having a go at each other and trying to get to a cup final.
Celtic’s Johansen backs Henderson for big time
STEFAN Johansen has praised teenage midfielder Liam Henderson, saying that the Celtic ace can go on to feature for the team for years to come.
The Norwegian said: “Liam has handled the pressure very well. His head is in the right place and it is not in the sky.
“He is very calm for a 17-year-old... he has the mentality to be a very good player.” (Record)
