John Guidetti given £5m price tag by Man City
The move will cause concern for Ronny Deila, who had hoped to secure Guidetti on a more permanent basis. The Parkhead club could now face a major pre-contract battle in their bid to sign the striker longer term.
Norwegian Deila is a great admirer of his fellow Scandinavian and the Swede’s current form and strike rate has led him to state that he’d love to tie the young striker down on a long-term deal as soon as possible.

What will also worry Deila is that from January 1st, any club will be free to speak to Guidetti and this could lead to strong competition from other suitors who are also keen to land the talented striker for free next summer.
