Crease’s latest Berwick spell over
Crease said: “It was a terrible result and a terrible performance and I feel it is the right thing to do. This has been my fourth spell as a manager here, and it will be my last, and to be honest I have enjoyed every time but I feel it is time to give someone else the chance to bring success here.”
Assistant manager Ian Little will take over on a temporary basis from Crease, who also holds a director’s position at the Borderers, with the 61-year-old keen to stress that there has been no fall out in the boardroom.

A director’s position remains open for Crease at the club, but the former manager will let the dust settle before confirming if he will continue in that role. “I will give it a few weeks as whoever comes in as the new manager may not want me looking over their shoulder,” Crease explained.
