Boxing: Injuries pose career worry for Kris Carslaw
Gilmour plans to meet with another of his fighters, Willie Limond, to discuss the 32-year-old’s future after he lost his British lightweight title challenge to Anthony Crolla on the same bill at the Ravenscraig Sports Centre in Motherwell.
However, with Limond’s reputation made and intact, Gilmour is worried more about 27-year-old Carslaw whose unbeaten record ended earlier in the night when Mancunian Hall beat him in their official eliminator for the British light-middleweight title.

“You have heavy handed guys like Matthew Hall. He got caught with his mouth open slightly and that’s what caused the damage.”
