Elsewhere, it will be a mainly dry night with clear spells, although cloud will build into north-west Scotland and Northern Ireland during the early hours, accompanied by light rain and drizzle later.
Tomorrow: A largely fine day across south-eastern parts of England but with a steady increase in cloud over the course of the day. Elsewhere, light rain and drizzle over Northern Ireland and western Scotland will spread south and east, affecting south-west England and Wales by the end of the day.

Hide AdUK Outlook (Thursday and Friday): Thursday will see any lingering rain in the south-east clear away during the morning to leave a fairly breezy day with sunny spells and showers.
The showers will be heaviest and most frequent in the north-west of the UK where a few thundery downpours are possible. Winds will also be fresh or strong in north-west Scotland.
On Friday, there will be sunny spells and further showers for the northern and western places but these will become less frequent as the day continues.
