Edinburgh Instruments open new base in Livingston
The firm, which was set up in 1971 and develops, manufactures and exports a range of technology products for the scientific research and industrial markets, has grown to employ more than 75 staff based in the West Lothian town.
It provides specialist equipment to most of Scotland’s universities.

Hide AdThe company’s expansion takes the office and manufacturing capacity in Livingston to more than 30,000 square feet.
The new building will also house sister business Techcomp Research & Engineering Centre, led by chief executive Chris O’Connor.
Edinburgh Instruments’ chief executive Mark Vosloo said: “It is a credit to the Edinburgh Instruments team that our parent company Techcomp Holdings is able to make this investment and we want to build on our success as we look to the future.”
