Moroccan rapper jailed over song
A MOROCCAN court has jailed a rapper for a year for attacking the image of police in a song about corruption.
Mouad Belghouat, who uses the name El-Haqed (The Enraged), was not present in the Casablanca court yesterday for sentencing. His defence team withdrew from the trial on Monday and no plea was entered on his behalf.
