Woolfson leaves £280,000
Glasgow-born Woolfson who died aged 64 from kidney cancer last December also wrote songs for Marianne Faithfull, Chris Farlowe and Frank Ifield.
He worked as a producer for artists including The Tremeloes, and The Equals before forming The Alan Parsons Project with Alan Parsons in 1975. The pair released ten albums, selling 45 million copies until splitting in 1990 and had hits including Eye in the Sky.

The father of two who went on to work in musical theatre left his estate to his wife, Hazel. Woolfson lived in Mill Hill, north London.
