Edwina Currie is first to exit Strictly after public vote
After being awarded just 19 points from the judging panel, the public vote saw off the 64-year-old.
She danced the foxtrot around a table and chairs, accompanied by professional dancer Vincent Simone, but failed to impress the judges. After the performance, Len Goodman said: “Make the most of that meal, because it could be the last supper.” Bruno Tonioli compared her display to a “bendy bus”.

Hide AdCurrie said that she had a “fabulous” time learning the dance moves. She added: “Well I feel sorry for Vincent, because he has worked very hard. He’s been a terrific teacher.
“Anything that we did wrong is entirely my fault. Whoever dances with Vincent is a very, very lucky woman. It has been fabulous. We have had several weeks of it because we started off with the launch programme as well. During which I think I’ve lost a dress size.”
The other couple in the bottom two were Audley Harrison and Natalie Lowe – who scored 23 points for their salsa.
