Donald Trump says he will leave hospital on Monday night and tells his followers ‘don’t be afraid of Covid’
It comes as the death toll in the US from Covid-19 approached 210,000 – and just hours after White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced she has tested positive for coronavirus.
Trump, 74, was taken to hospital on Friday amid reports he had developed fatigue symptoms and was having trouble breathing.

Hide AdIn his tweet, Trump said: “I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.
“We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
