Loganair opens Glasgow route
LOGANAIR and franchise partner Flybe have launched a direct service connecting Glasgow with Newquay in Cornwall.
A Loganair Saab 340 aircraft will operate up to five flights per week between the two locations, offering a flight time of about one hour and 40 minutes.
It is hoped that the short flight time will appeal to business travellers and holiday-makers alike, as rail and road journeys can often take between eight and ten hours.
Loganair’s chief operating officer, Jonathan Hinkles, said: “We have already taken a significant number of advance bookings since tickets went on sale last September.”
