Teacher struck off for having sex with two pupils
Christopher Cunningham was convicted at Livingston Sheriff Court in February for having sex with the two girls, who are now 19, in 2008 and 2009, the General Teaching Council of Scotland (GTCS) said.
He was sentenced to 12 months in prison. At a hearing of the GTCS’s disciplinary committee, it was also decided that Cunningham should be banned from applying to be restored to the teaching register for a year.
