Both sides missed penalties either side of half time but it was Scotland who turned the screw and won the International Tournament fixture with two goals in under ten minutes securing the victory.

Jack Newman in Scotland’s goal had a more memorable evening, with his penalty stop on 38 minutes keeping the scores even as the sides went back to the dressing rooms at half time.
Barron’s goal was quickly followed by a sliding finish from Finn Ecrepont of Ayr United after a well-worked free-kick to ensure Scotland’s victory when the whistle was blown after 80 minutes.
