Scottish Enterprise apologise for Yes vote tweet
SCOTTISH ENTERPRISE was today forced to apologise after its Twitter account was hacked by a member of staff posting in support of the independence campaign.
Early this morning, the business body’s Twitter feed posted the message “Be brave folk. We can do this. #indyref #voteyes.”
The Tweet was removed, but more than four hours later, the organisation posted another Tweet:
“@scotent would like to apologise for a post briefly put up in error by a staff member mixing up their personal and business accounts,” it wrote.
