PMQs today: Rishi Sunak grilled over immigration proposals as he says stopping small boats “priority” for the British people

Rishi Sunak faced criticism over his immigration plan and the proposed law to try and stop small boats arriving in the UK during a heated PMQs.

Sir Keir Starmer outlined "five utter failures" in the Conservatives' migration policies while in government stating that the problem just gets worse with every new gimmick.

Starmer said that if the Conservative party was serious about immigration he would be stealing Labour's own plan for small boats, saying the government's plan is "all talk", accusing the Government’s asylum plan of driving a “coach and horses” through the country’s modern slavery framework.
