Police warn Aberdeen public over skimming devices
A spokesman for the force’s Aberdeen Division said: “Three devices have been found on the Bank of Scotland ATM at Midstocket Road between 19 and 24 May and enquiries into this matter are on-going.”
He continued: “We would urge members of the public to be cautious when using cash machines in the area. There are some simple steps you can take to protect yourself from becoming a victim of skimming devices, such as covering your pin number.

Hide Ad“If you believe you have become a victim of a card skimming device, you should report it to your bank in the first instance.”
The spokesman added: “Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious between Sunday 19 May and Friday 24 May in the Midstocket Road area is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
