Police donate lost umbrellas to art exhibition
The umbrellas were recovered from Fettes Police Station and went on to be used in an art exhibition at the Cupar Arts Festival in June.
It has now been shown at a further exhibition at the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh.

Hide AdPolice Scotland has an ongoing commitment to clearing out its archives of lost and confiscated property. Several items have been donated to projects from across Scotland, including a donation of bikes.
Artist Juliana Capes, who created the exhibition, said: “Working with the lost property department has been very inspiring for me as an artist interested in the poignancy of lost objects.
“I am very grateful to Police Scotland for supporting my installation at the National Galleries.”
Superintendent Andrew Allan from Police Scotland’s Criminal Justice Unit said: “This was a great use of lost property and we are thrilled that the project has done so well.
“Police Scotland is committed to the disposing of lost and confiscated items in a sustainable and cost effective way.
“I look forward to seeing the exhibit at the National Galleries.”
