Parents’ Christmas morning video of son goes viral
Mike and Sarah Ralton filmed their wee boy Archie’s reaction to Santa’s snowy footprints in his living room and the huge pile of presents he then found.
And the video, which was posted to Mike’s Facebook Page on Christmas evening, has now had more than 1.6 million views and been shared thousands of times.

Hide AdMike, a technician in the oil industry, and Sarah, a senior nursery nurse, said they were “completely shocked” at how everyone had taken to the video.

Sarah, 30, said: “I just couldn’t believe it.
“Mike posted the video on Christmas night and by the morning it had gone crazy.”
The video shows two-year-old Archie coming down the stairs of the family’s home in Cornhill, Aberdeen, in his red and green elf pyjamas.
He then finds a trail of snowy footprints into the living room where there is a huge pile of presents on the sofa.

He claps his hands in glee and points out all the presents for him and baby sister Millie, who is four-weeks-old - but he doesn’t make a move to open them until he’s checked the mince pie and carrot have been eaten.
Mike, 33, said: “We were amazed at how many nice comments were left on the video, both from people we know and from total strangers.”
Sarah added: “The comments were so lovely and sweet.
“He was so wrapped up in the whole story of Santa and the magic of Christmas and we thought it was really special.
“We are very proud parents.”

Hide AdArchie’s favourite films is Toy Story which featured heavily in his presents, with a Toy Story bike and a talking Rex the dinosaur.
Archie, who turns three next weeks said: “Because we don’t have a chimney Santa couldn’t get in, so I left a special key under the mat so he could get into the house.”
