Salmon ‘experts’ had their chance
This subject was addressed by the recent Aquaculture & Fisheries Bill and its associated consultation process. These “experts” had every opportunity to voice their concerns then but failed to do so. Because it doesn’t include what they want to discuss, these experts now suggest that this new review reeks of being a private gentlemen’s club that is being conducted behind closed doors.
In fact, the review is transparent, with over a dozen meetings arranged throughout Scotland where local opinions can be openly expressed and these will be followed, as Scotland on Sunday reports, by a full consultation.
