Letter: Drug squad
I AM always startled by news articles about high levels of hard drug use (your report, 30 November).
Not only have I never been offered drugs, but I have never knowingly been in the presence of anyone who uses them.
I’ve asked around and it appears I’m not alone in this.
I completely accept that perhaps my friends and I are not a representative sample group (although we’re not church-goers or particularly square) but I still find it rather curious that drug-taking is such a common pursuit these days.
