Letter: Anti-gay beliefs
As a "prejudice" is an irrational preformed opinion, according to many dictionary definitions, it is entirely reasonable to describe Richard Lucas's anti-gay attitudes as such (Letters, 17 August).
And, while there are differences, there are enough similarities to permit a comparison with racism.
Gay people no more choose their orientation than they do their skin colour.
