Cheap pensions
Was Nigel Griffiths's extramarital sex in the Commons his total achievement for his million-pound pension? For every £1 million pension MPs enjoy, they pay less than £100,000, with poor taxpayers paying the rest.
Public-sector pensions and conditions cannot be changed while MPs' pensions cost taxpayers such a fortune. MPs must demand, immediately, a change to a contributions-based scheme.
