No shyness about illness
A PHARMACY chain has expressed concern that Edinburgh residents are ignoring certain health problems because of embarrassment.
A study by seven Co-op pharmacies in the Capital found more than a third of locals would rather go untreated than seek help for illnesses such as sexually transmitted diseases, worms and incontinence.
Co-op spokesman Mandeep Mudhar said: "Our research has shown that coy behaviour is putting people's long-term health at risk and causing unnecessary suffering."
