Homeopathy future fears
FEARS have been raised over the future of homeopathy services in the Lothians after it emerged two clinics could close.
NHS bosses have launched a public consultation on possible closure of centres in Edinburgh and Dalkeith because of concerns that homeopathic treatments are not effective.
But the consultation has been attacked by pro-homeopathy campaigners.
Clinical scientist Dr Patricia Nelson said: “Homeopathic remedies, if used correctly, are not only extremely effective. They are also more economical.”
