Drunk admits struggling with police
Gary Reid, 21, was detained after being found lying motionless on a grass verge.
Officers were forced to put leg restraints on Reid, of Wallyford, East Lothian, to subdue him during the incident on April 1.

Hide AdHe pleaded guilty to resisting, obstructing, molesting and hindering two officers at Haddington Sheriff Court.
Depute fiscal Alison Innes told the court: “The struggle was such that the officer who was driving had to pull in to the hard shoulder then had to get out and restrain him. He appeared very intoxicated.”
Sheriff Derek O’Carroll told unemployed Reid he was “very fortunate” the Crown had decided to drop four other related charges, and due to his limited income sentenced him to 90 hours of community service.
