Dan throws himself into wrestling return
The event at the Ladywood Leisure Centre in Penicuik is a homecoming for the wrestler – also known as doctor Dan Rodgers – who has just returned from a year working in Australia.
The medic fights in bright orange Lyrcra and mask, and took his nickname from the world of Mexican wrestling, where The Technician is the name given to the “goodies”, while the “baddies” are known as the Rudos.
He will be taking on England’s former champion David Paris.
