'I wouldn't wish it on anyone': Driver left shaken after trolley dropped by 'youths' hits car on M8
Ryan Duke, from Glasgow, was driving down the M8 on his way home from work on Tuesday when he caught sight of three people on a bridge at Junction 10.
The 22-year-old explained: “They were jumping around, it almost seemed in a panicky way. Then they ran off.

"I didn’t have time to react. I hit it at 70 mph.”
The front of Ryan’s car, a dark coloured Citron C3, sustained serious damage in the incident.
The police were called and they were able to escort him and the car off the M8 to a safer spot to take a statement.
Ryan continued: “I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, it wasn’t a good experience.
"Also, my car is practically undrivable now.”
Ryan is hoping that somebody somewhere will have information on who these three people were.
He said: “That’s why I’ve tried to put it out there. The people on the bridge definitely seemed younger.
"If there was anyone who saw anything, or anyone driving along with dashcam footage who can help.”
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: “Around 5.10pm on Tuesday, 5 January, police received a report of a car having collided with a shopping trolley while travelling on the M8.
