Dog walkers' alarm after snare found in Scottish park
It was the second to be found in Dundee this year after one was spotted in Camperdown Country Park last month, the Evening Telegraph reported today.
An angry owner posted the alert on the Missing Pets Dundee and Angus Facebook page.

"I dread to think what would've been the outcome if [a dog] was an inch closer.
"Absolutely raging that ya can't even enjoy a walk without some sick **** potentially harming innocent animals .
"The snare was disposed of by myself.
"I spent well over an hour going around that area and that’s all I found, so please be careful when ya out with your dogs.”
Morag Pacione, a professional dog walker who found the Camperdown trap, told the Telegraph: “A lot of these traps were probably laid in summer, but are just being found now because it’s colder and a lot of the foliage covering them has gone.
“It’s disappointing that more have been found, especially in somewhere like the rock gardens where there are so many cats and dogs out and about.
“I would ask that people keep their eyes open for these traps so that we can get them sorted.”
Others claimed more traps had been found in Dundee.
Christian Borthwick posted on the Missing Pets page: “They’re everywhere, I nearly stood in one at the back of Whitfield last week.”
