Council land to cost £125k
PART of the site of a former colliery in West Lothian is set to be sold off to a civil engineering company.
The 2.7 acres of land, which is being sold by West Lothian Council, will be used by the Dunne Group as an open storage space.
The deal is expected to raise £125,000.
The site is the final piece of land at Whitrigg still under council ownership.
Councillors are due to vote on the proposed sale at a meeting on Tuesday.
