Capital helps put dementia in spotlight
The awards have been set up in partnership between Alzheimer Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland and the Scottish Social Services Council.
They aim to recognise professionals and communities who are committed to enhancing the health, wellbeing and experience of people with dementia and their families.

Hide AdCapital-based Viewpoint Housing Association Ltd has been nominated in the best innovation in continuing care category, while Alzheimer Scotland Lothian Early Onset Support Service in Edinburgh was nominated in the best dementia friendly community initiative category, for its Alzheimer Scotland Golf Day.
Meanwhile, Morison’s Solicitors, VOCAL and West Lothian Carers were jointly nominated for the most-innovative partnership award.
An awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 20 at Hampden sStadium in Glasgow, to commemmorate World Alzheimer’s Day.
The keynote address will be given by the Deputy First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon.
