Charity’s work on drug use wins award
Crew 2000 has picked up the GlaxoSmithKline Gold Champions IMPACT Award, which brings £35,000 of funding and a five-day staff training programme from The King’s Fund.
The organisation, based in Cockburn Street, provides information about drugs, helping people who want to manage or reduce their drug use. It also runs an online service, called www.oasisonline.co.uk, where people can keep track of their substance use, assess it, and chat in forums. It also runs a phone app with information on tackling addiction.
