Thorntons revenues rise as staff swells
TURNOVER at Thorntons rose by 9 per cent to £14.4 million in the year to 31 May after the Dundee-based law firm appointed two partners in Edinburgh and one in Tayside.
Pre-tax profits edged up to £2.7m from £2.6m, with the share of the surplus enjoyed by the highest-paid partner falling to £121,646 from £125,799, according to accounts filed at Companies House.
Joint managing partner Craig Nicol described the performance as “extremely positive and encouraging”.
