On the move: Latest appointments and promotions
Jo Nove and Laura Leslie join from the consultancy Greenhaus and banking group TSB respectively. Leslie has been on secondment from TSB for a year and will move formally to Charlotte Street Partners in January 2016. Nove joins with immediate effect. Malcolm Robertson, the group’s founding partner, said: “We have a wonderfully talented, diverse team here, and Jo and Laura make excellent additions.”
Faith Simpson Accountants has promoted Helen Crowley, director of tax at the company, to the post of managing director. Crowley, who has more than 20 years’ experience in tax and is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians, joined Faith Simpson a year ago. In addition, Sheryl Dyer, Faith Simpson’s longest-serving member of staff, with four years’ experience, has been promoted to assistant practice manager within the company, which has its head office in South Street, Elgin.

Yvonne Brady, Fiona McKerrell and John Gallacher will join in the New Year from HBJ Gateley. Brady, who will become head of the Shepherd & Wedderburn team, is described in the independent legal directory, Chambers & Partners, as “the most experienced recovery lawyer in Scotland”.
