Murgitroyd sales boosted by growing US presence
Patent attorney Murgitroyd today reported a 9 per cent rise in half-year sales, driven by strong growth in the US.
The Glasgow-based firm posted turnover of £19.2 million for the six months to November, with sales in the US jumping by a third.
Chairman Ian Murgitroyd said the US is the largest source of European patent applications and the firm last month added a European specialist to its west coast office.

Hide AdPre-tax profits for the first half edged up 1 per cent to £2.28m and the interim dividend – to be paid on 3 March – was held at 3.75p.
Murgitroyd said it remained cautious over the outlook for the global economy, but current trading is in line with market expectations.
