Low & Bonar names new boss as first-half sales rise
The maker of flooring and artificial grass said Simpson, who spent 23 years at Dow Chemical before becoming boss of Belgian bulk liquid specialist LBC Tank Terminals in 2009, is due to take the helm on 8 September.
Simpson replaces Steve Good, who announced in February that he would be retiring after more than four years in the role.

Hide AdThe change in leadership was confirmed as Low & Bonar, which began life a century ago as a Dundee jute weaver, said it had made “good progress” during the first six months of its financial year, with sales on a constant-currency basis expected to be about 10 per cent ahead of a year earlier.
First-half results are due to be published on 10 July.
