Star Wars casting company on hunt for extras in Edinburgh

Casting agency Uni-versal Extras have announced an open casting session will be held in Edinburgh this Saturday, as they look to secure talent for “exciting projects”.
Founded in 2005, the Pinewood Studios firm have supplied extras for major productions such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Churchill biopic Darkest Hour, and hit TV series Black Mirror.

Hide AdUni-versal Extras events co-ordinator Amy Leyshon said: “We have some exciting projects coming up in and around Edinburgh and across Scotland, so are looking for people to come and register to work as supporting artists with us.
“We look forward to meeting everyone.”
The casting session is scheduled to take place between 10am and 4pm this Saturday at the Radisson Blu Hotel on the Capital’s High Street.

Applicants must be aged at least 16 and a half and have legal rights to work in the United Kingdom.
No previous extras or acting experience is necessary.
