Edinburgh have announced the departure of scrum-half Nic Groom and hooker Sam Kitchen with immediate effect.
Groom, 31, made 22 appearances after joining in 2019 from South African side Lions. Edinburgh say he will “see out the season in England”.
His departure was expected after Edinburgh signed scrum-half Ben Vellacott from Wasps earlier this year, with Henry Pyrgos and Charlie Shiel also vying for the No 9 jersey.
