Celtic's Ronny Deila and 2016: The Rangers sympathy for 'inappropriate' abuse revealed

Former Rangers manager Mark Warburton has expressed his sympathy for ex-Celtic boss Ronny Deila following the aftermath of the what happened the last time the Glasgow giants met in a Scottish Cup semi-final.

The Norwegian manager came in for severe criticism and was put under pressure following the cup defeat in 2016.

Celtic, who won the Premiership that season, were defeated at Hampden Park by Championship winners Rangers in a penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw.
