A woman has sustained serious injuries in an attack in Glasgow.
The 31-year-old was taken to hospital after being assaulted in a property on Newlands Road in the city’s southside.
The incident happened at around noon on Sunday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were called to a report of a 31-year-old woman having being seriously assualted within a property on Newlands Road, Glasgow.

Hide Ad“Emergency services attended and a 31-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
A 58-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and police inquiries are continuing.
